Proofs
While there is no known fast algorithm for proving theorems, there are many guidelines worth keeping in mind. Many proofs have a standard format, and many problems are always approached in the same way. I've tried to collect a few tidbits about proofs here. You can ignore the section on relations; we won't be discussing them in this class.
