I am now at the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Davis. My office there is in 153 Kerr Hall and my office phone number there is (530)-752-0632. I'll continue to read my Berkeley e-mail.
I taught section 106 for Math 16B this past Spring. Information about my section will be posted here from time to time. General information about the course is probably still available for a little while from Professor Graber's web page. Grades have been submitted. If you think there has been an error, please let me know. Your final exams are available for viewing in 970 Evans, but there are certain times when they won't let you see them. I have forgotten exactly when those are.
Here are copies of my
CV (pdf ps),
research statement (pdf ps),
and teaching statement (pdf ps).
All my papers are currently on the ArXiv in almost current versions.
Briefly stated, I am interested in combinatorial objects in commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. I have specifically worked on resolutions of certain modules with links to both the braid arrangement and the Hilbert scheme of points in the plane. I am also working on questions about the geometry of Schubert varieties and some associated combinatorics.
