Second Midterm: Tu 10/27/09 8:00am-9:30am, Room 2 Evans.
Final Exam: W 12/16/09 12:30am-3:30am, Room TBA.

Homework:

Each Thursday I will assign a new homework set and collect your solutions to the previous one. Please note that late homework will not be accepted. Discussion in groups is encouraged, but solutions must be written up individually.

Grading:

Your grade will be determined as follows: 25% Homework, 20% First Midterm, 20% Second Midterm, 35% Final Exam. At the end of the course, the two lowest homework grades will be dropped.

W. Rudin. Principles of Mathematical Analysis, Third Edition. McGraw-Hill Inc.

Syllabus:

The course will follow the textbook closely with the aim of covering the first seven chatpers in detail. If time permits further topics will be covered.
