Evans Hall Power Outage Feb 25-26

Please be advised that due to scheduled electric power maintenance in Evans Hall this weekend Feb. 25-26 all office computer equipment should be shutdown before 7 p.m. Friday night. There will be no computer service in Evans Hall between 7 pm Fri. Feb. 24 and 7 am Mon. Feb. 27.

Update 1: As a result of power outage in Evans Hall some services, namely, DHCP (ethernet networking), NIS (Unix authentication), thin clients, and printing have not been restored as of 7 am Feb. 27. Please use AirBears for general networking meanwhile.

Update 2: The netwok problem in Evans Hall has been resolved around 11:30 am Feb. 27. Please reboot your computer/printer if you still have a problem with networking/authentication/printing.
