SUMMARY OF ENROLLMENT PROCEDURESMany Math classes are impacted. We recommend that you sign up for Math classes in Phase I. Enrollments are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are unable to honor special requests.WE CANNOT ALWAYS ACCOMMODATE YOUR FIRST OPTION OF LECTURE/DISCUSSION TIME. To sign up for a Math class: 1. Add the class through TeleBears. 2. If you are signing up for a lower-division calculus class or an upper-division class with discussion sections you must sign up for both the lecture and a discussion section. You will not get into the lecture without being in a discussion section. 3. If you cannot immediately add a class, you will need to return to the Enrollment menu and select the fourth option, “Add to Wait List”. To improve your chances of getting into the class, you should sign up for a section with the shortest possible wait list. 4. Wait lists are processed manually by the department in order to move students in more quickly. 5. DO NOT ADD A CLASS THAT YOU CANNOT ATTEND EXPECTING THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHANGE SECTIONS. 6. To switch discussion sections use TeleBears, Enrollment-Switch Sections (option 3). Do not drop the lecture and then re-add it. Note, you can move into a new section only if there is space available. Note: Discussion sections and upper-division class enrollment limits are already set at the maximum. Consult the University Schedule of Classes for course offerings. ENROLLMENT/SCHEDULING QUESTIONS FOR FALL 2009 The following classes are full. If you are wait listed for a class with multiple lecture sections you should check the other lectures for availability. All calculus discussion sections are set at their maximum enrollment limit. Students will be moved in off the wait list as space opens, however, these spaces are limited. We CANNOT enroll you in a lecture or discussion that is already full. Please be advised that professors and GSIs cannot add you to a course. Please check TeleBears diligently for open slots and to monitor your registration status. WE REGRET THAT WE CANNOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS AND WE CANNOT HONOR ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS.
